Max Barstow is an award-winning photographer. Born in London, he started taking pictures in his early teens, inspired by masters of the craft such as Henri Cartier-Bresson, Bill Brandt and Irving Penn.

Max’s images include street-photography, still life and portraiture, all distinguished by his fine attention to detail and approach to light.

Max has had his work displayed in the National Portrait Gallery in London, as a prize-winner in the prestigious Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize.

He has a degree in Philosophy from King’s College London.
